To edit a desired point, click on the name of the point in the System Navigation. Once the point-editing interface has loaded, you can successfully edit the point.
PARENT determines where the point will be located in the navigation tree. “TOP LEVEL” is for a main page, for example “Home” or “Contact”. These pages are considered parents, because you can choose to place a page within them. The subpages of these items are considered children. You can have an unlimited number of parents and children. To place a page within another page, select the parent page from the “Page Location” pulldown.
POINT NAME should be unique for referencing the point throughout the system. The name can contain uppercase, lowercase, and numerical characters.
ICON allows you to choose an icon from the icon sets to represent the point.
LOCATION allows you to set the location of the point. If you already know them, you can enter the longitude and latitude, as well as the desired zoom level, in the spaces provided. If you do not know them, click on LOCATION and a new window will appear with a map. You can search the Google Earth interface of this map for the location of the point by dragging the map with your mouse or using the map controls in the left corner of the map. When you find where you want to place the icon, click and the icon will appear, filling in the longitude and latitude. Otherwise, if you know the address of the point, you can enter it into the address space and you will be given the possible options. Click on the correct one. Once you have located your point, click save and you will be returned to the Point-Editing Interface page.
Once you have finished editing the page, click “save” to publish your changes.^^ TOP ^^
DELETING A POINT
To delete a desired point, click on the name of the point in the System Navigation. Once the point-editing interface has loaded, click the “Delete” button. A popup will appear to confirm this action.

COPYING A POINT
To copy a desired point, click on the name of the point in the System Navigation. Once the point-editing interface has loaded, click the “Copy” button. The newly created copy will load into the point-editing interface. The POINT NAME will automatically be changed to "Originalname copy" and FILENAME will automatically be changed to "filename_copy.html". Change these fields to your desired values.
Once you have finished editing the point, click “save” to publish your changes.Updated: Feb 26, 2008
