To edit a desired page, click on the name of the page in the System Navigation. Once the page-editing interface has loaded, you can successfully edit the page. Page-Editing Interface
PAGE LOCATION determines where the page will be located in the navigation tree. “TOP LEVEL” is for a main page, for example “Home” or “Contact”. These pages are considered parents, because you can choose to place a page within them. The subpages of these items are considered children. You can have an unlimited number of parents and children. To place a page within another page, select the parent page from the “Page Location” pulldown. PAGE NAME should be unique for referencing the page throughout the system. The name can contain uppercase, lowercase, and numerical characters. FILENAME should always be lowercase, one word, and unique. It must always be followed by .html. For example, the filename can be lots_of_words_separated.html META TAG RECORD determines what keywords and description you want associated with this page. These records reside within the page for search engine reference. The pulldown lists the Meta Tag Records on file in the system. To manage these records, please refer to the Meta Tag Records section of this manual. TEMPLATE determines the overall design and layout of your page. The pulldown lists the Templates on file in the system. To manage these templates, please refer to the Templates section of this manual. EDIT CONTENT allows you to edit the content of the page. Once you have finished editing the page, click “save” to publish your changes. ^^ TOP ^^ DELETING A PAGE To delete a desired page, click on the name of the page in the System Navigation. Once the page-editing interface has loaded, click the “Delete” button. A popup will appear to confirm this action. COPYING A PAGE To copy a desired page, click on the name of the page in the System Navigation. Once the page-editing interface has loaded, click the “Copy” button. The newly created copy will load into the page-editing interface. The PAGE NAME will automatically be changed to "Originalname copy" and FILENAME will automatically be changed to "filename_copy.html". Change these fields to your desired values. Once you have finished editing the page, click “save” to publish your changes. |
